We carry an invisible audience with us wherever we go.
We wonder what our coworkers will say if we speak up, what our friends will think if we change careers, or how strangers will judge our choices. This constant guessing game dictates how we dress, how we speak, and how we live.
Yet trying to live by committee is a guaranteed way to lose ourselves.
The truth is, people are thinking about us far less than we think. We cannot control what someone else thinks, so stop seeking their permission.
